Situated centrally between LAKE LURE and LAKE JAMES, This Beautiful home will leave you in awe - not only with the incredible privacy , but the home itself is sitting in the middle of 17 acres with two flowing mountain steams.
This Home sits between Box Creek Wilderness and South Mountain State Park, has 1 Master Suites with 1 King, bed and private full bath which has just went through an extensive renovation, with an added walk in custom tile shower, a new drop in tub, New double granite top vanity, new tile floors, And all brand new plumbing and fixtures.
Upper level bedroom w2 Queen beds, Large screen TV, , the upper level bedrooms requires an extra cost of $25 per person, per night.
laundry room /pantry, private in-ground pool. Huge 4 car attached carport, Beautiful screened in porches throughout the entire back of the home home. Just a short drive to many of North Carolina's wonderful attractions. Just 80 minutes to charlotte airport and 30 minutes to Ashville airport. We have a strict no pet policy and smoking is strictly forbidden inside of the house! We also offer a beautiful 300 gallon Jacuzzi Hot Tub for an extra fee of $165 for unlimited use. The fee is to cover the cost of draining, re-filling, sanitizing, and new chlorine between each guest stay to ensure the cleanliness and safety for all of our guest. Please note if you are an unverified, a new traveler with VRBO with no previous ratings, please tell us a little bit about yourself upon your rental request, thank you.

Summary: This is an old farmhouse with loads of building additions, improvements, and modernizations. The area is rural and quiet, with rolling hills and trees and fields, but only a few miles from the small town of Marion. The kitchen is clean and well-stocked. Up a few steps is the living/ family room, which is huge and comfortable, with multiple reclining couches and chairs. The bedrooms in the original farmhouse are up steep stairs, have little privacy, and the bathroom is downstairs. However, the newer master bedroom has a wonderfully comfortable king bed and the en suite bathroom is outstanding, with beautiful tile work, a fabulous shower and a soaking tub. We spent most of our time in the expansive, multi-level screened porch and the lovely private pool, complete with a large cabana. The pool area overlooks a neighbor’s pond and fields, where we watched two deer foraging peacefully. We didn’t use the hot tub since it was summer, but it is at one end of the screen porch and private. Wi-Fi service is excellent in the house, but a bit spotty on the porch and by the pool. The house is such a welcoming space, and Mike is relaxed and generous. After showing us around the house and grounds, he left us to ourselves, but was readily available to answer any questions. All in all, this is an eclectic and welcoming place to stay. Highly recommended!
